Milder
Milder Flatstomp is an NPC introduced in the original Dink Smallwood, and is one of the most often recurring characters in D-Mods (along with NPCs such as Martridge and King Daniel). Portrayed as something of a classic bully, he is usually seen poking fun at Dink's expense.
Original Dink Smallwood[]

Milder grew up in Stonebrook. No other background information, such as his family or relatives is ever given. At the beginning of the game, Milder has just joined the royal army of GoodHeart and appears to make fun of Dink as he is feeding pigs. Milder is also seen flirting with Libby SmileStein and Lyna.
Later on, Milder appears to interrupt Dink as he is telling tales of valour to people in the tavern in Terris, getting them to laugh at Dink instead, before quickly leaving again. Milder is not seen again until the end of the game, but the King's News posters detail some of his exploits, such as winning a jousting tournament, marrying Lyna, and finally venturing into the Darklands, where he disappears.
Once Dink reaches the final boss of the game, he finds Milder lying in a pool of blood. Depending on the dialoque path chosen, Milder will either laud Dink as being more of a knight than he ever was and the two prepare to leave, or get angry and wish he had the strength to... Just then, the Ancient One Seth appears and kills Milder by casting Explosion.
D-Mods[]

Milder has also appeared in various D-Mods, even some that take place after the original game. Some D-Mods have also twisted the story of the original game, creating a completely new story. Probably one of the most known series like this is the Milderr!! -trilogy, created by Sharp.
